Logan College Dedicates The Standard Process Student Center On Its Chesterfield Campus

Logan College of Chiropractic, St. Louis, officially completed a 6-month development project with the dedication of the $3.6 million Standard Process Student Center at a ribbon-cutting event held on the schools Chesterfield campus. The 6,500 square-foot facility is the latest construction project at the college over a 3 year period.

The American Chiropractic Association (ACA) has voiced opposition to American Medical Association (AMA) Resolution 232, which advocates the use of state legislation to make it a felony for non-MDs/DOs to misrepresent ones self as a physician. Under federal statute, all doctors of chiropractic are considered physicians in Medicare and doctors of chiropractic are legally deemed chiropractic physicians in an overwhelming majority of states.

$529 Million Dollar Lawsuit Filed Against Alberta DCs

Edmonton chiropractor, Gregoy John Stiles, the Alberta College and Association of Chiropractors, and Alberta Health and Wellness have been named in a class-action lawsuit filed by Sandra Gay Nette and her husband, David. The suit alleges that Nette was paralyzed after a chiropractic session in September 2007, and that it damaged her vertebral arteries, disrupting blood flow to the brain.
